IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR WORRY-FREE CAR RENTAL IN MAURITIUS

You must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driving license of at least one year old. For stays of less than one month, an international driving license is not required. If the car is less than 5 years old, the last two digits of the license plate indicate the year it was registered. This is then compliant with comprehensive insurance.

 

Reservation & Payment:

By clicking on "Reservation," you will complete a pre-reservation form, and a quote will then be sent to you by email. To confirm your reservation, you can pay online via credit card or PayPal. Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you your reservation confirmation.

Our rental conditions:

Unlimited mileage. Comprehensive insurance with a €600 deductible. (Amount not cashed, credit card imprint taken) Driver and passenger insurance with maximum coverage in the event of an accident. In the event of damage to the vehicle, you will be responsible for the costs up to the maximum deductible (i.e., €600). Customer personal belongings are not covered.

Not Included: Fuel is at the customer's expense.

Please note that rental is payable in advance upon booking.

Damage to tires is the customer's responsibility.

 

Please note: Prices are calculated in 24-hour increments. If the drop-off time is later than the pick-up time, you will be charged an additional day. In Mauritius, driving is on the left.

 

Cancellation:

Our refund policy is as follows: In the event of an accident or the car becomes unusable, and the customer is at fault, the remaining rental days will not be refunded. The rental company is under no obligation to provide a replacement car. If the customer is not at fault for the accident, a replacement car will be provided. Otherwise, the remaining days will be refunded. If the customer shortens their rental, the remaining days will not be refunded. If the customer does not show up to pick up the car and there is no response from them (by phone or email) within 24 hours of the rental start, the payment will not be refunded, and the rental company may dispose of the car.

If you pick up your vehicle at the airport, please note that no compensation will be awarded if you were unable to pick up the vehicle due to an error on your part regarding the information provided, including the flight number, flight time, or airport name, or if the flight is canceled by the airline. In the latter case, you are advised to take legal action against the airline.

Special Circumstances:

In the event of special circumstances (natural disasters, health emergencies, strikes, earthquakes, storms, war, etc.), no refunds will be issued. A credit note for the amount paid will be issued by the rental agency concerned.

Delivery fees:
